I was brought onto the Best Buy employee experience team as a UX researcher to uncover employee needs around in-store processes and applications.
My involvement included both remote and in-store interviews to gain a contextual understanding of employee daily processes. I led stakeholder kickoff sessions to align on research questions, assumptions, business goals, project timelines, and benchmarks.
My "research toolkit" included a mix of qual and quant methodologies to support our team with data to make evidence-based design decisions. I consulted with PMs, designers, and developers to help keep the voice of the user at the forefront of our work around content, language, applications, and process strategy.
